Our leather sheaths are handcrafted from premium 9-10 oz. English process, vegetable tanned (no smelly acids!) cowhide.
Because of our unique brush guard design, should you forget to fasten the strap, the brush guard helps prevent loss, by not allowing anything to get in behind the knife handle, when you are hunting in tall grass or brush.  Alice designed this sheath after talking with hunters!
Sheaths are available in tan or black leather, with basketweave tooling, plain with border, or totally plain, without border.
This picture shows plain black, with border & initials - not as durable as the basketweave... but some folks like it! If you are hard on your equipment, you may want to choose black basketweave.
Often times
       we’re asked...

        “Don’t you have
              a cheaper sheath?”

We could...
     but we’d have to compromise
                     quality and durability!

Our question is...
          “Why put a nice knife
                        in a junk sheath?”!
The intricate basketweave
design,
hand - tooled into the leather, compresses the leather, making it extremely durable and scratch resistant.
Sheaths may also be personalized with initials, or
an animal imprint,
or both, at no additional charge. Call or drop us
an e-mail for information on available animal imprints!

Fillet Knife
Sheaths ~

We now feature
a brush guard
style sheath for
our 7” Fillet.
Due to the long
length of the
blade, however,
this particular
sheath is made
without a strap,
for convenience
in insertion and
removal of the
blade from
the sheath.
Your fillet knife
sheath may also
be personalized
with initials, and
a Bass, Trout, or
other animal
imprint.
Since Alice does all our leatherworking, she can make them in left-handed, too! Just ask!
On the fillet knife sheath, if you want initials they look best on the bottom portion of the sheath. Trout or Bass imprints look best on the brushguard.
A father & son duo! Shows how the initials look on various size sheaths.
This picture shows that you can have your initials on the brushguard (3 of them) with an animal below... or an animal on the brushguard and your initials below (2 of them)... if the sheath is physically large enough.
Custom sheaths with initals must be scheduled, and completion time will depend upon our current workload and show schedule.
We do maintain a limited stock of our sheaths, on hand, for immediate shipment, with either Deer or Deer Head imprints, etc..  Sheaths on hand will vary by model and color; just ask us what is currently available, when you call!
Our latigo lacing outlasts ordinary cotton stitching!
Please note: Alice no longer accepts orders for sheaths for knives other than our own.
